Shannon is a volleyball coach for Wisconsin Blaze and offers volleyball-specific training for athletes through Enspire365. A native of Hortonville, WI, Shannon was a stellar high school athlete and played volleyball, basketball and softball at Hortonville High School. She went on to play both volleyball and softball at Lawrence University.

Shannon was a force as an outside hitter on the volleyball court and earned All-Midwest Conference honors in 2002 and 2003. Her name is all over the Lawrence record books where she ranks second with 1,357 career kills, first with 199 career aces and second with 1,604 digs. In October of 2015, Shannon was inducted into the Lawrence University Hall of Fame for both volleyball and softball.

Shannon received a degree in biology with an interdisciplinary in psychology from Lawrence University and went on to receive her nursing degree from Rush University. When she’s not on the court, Shannon works as an aesthetic nurse at Fox Valley Plastic Surgery. She also has a cat named, Gizzie.
